Gary Knapp

Director/Biblical Counselor

My story is a story of amazing grace. God got my attention after spending the first twenty-two years of my life pursuing all the things every lost twenty-two-year-old young man seeks. I believed in God but didn't know God. In 1987 God granted me the gifts of repentance and faith, and my life was changed forever. After attending Bible college, I entered the ministry as an Assistant Pastor. My wife Alisa and I married in 1995.

Shortly after finishing seminary in 1999, I had another life-changing experience. I had come to know a believer who told me he had battled depression much of his adult life. I couldn't seem to understand; if you have faith, you won't be depressed. Shortly after that conversation, I descended into the abyss of depression. I didn't realize what was happening to me. Where was God? Would this ever end? My experience lasted five years.

God used depression to teach me things about Him I would have never known otherwise. He created empathy for people who face depression and has filled me with a desire to share my experience and His grace to help others.

At this point, I have been in pastoral ministry for almost thirty years. Alisa and I have six children, and we are a testimony that God is real, powerful, faithful, kind, and merciful. I look forward to meeting you and drawing near to God together.

Liana Bomar

Biblical Counselor

My name is Liana Bomar; I am married 40 years to my high school sweetheart. Mother of one daughter, two sons, and Grammy to two beautiful little girls.

I came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at 18 years of age, and that is when I began my journey of learning what it meant to live a life for Jesus.

God tells me to come to him when I am weary, burdened, or overwhelmed. He tells me to cast all my anxiety on him because he cares for me (1 Peter 5:7) and he promises to be my refuge and strength an ever-present help in times of trouble psalm 46:1.

In 2006 I was introduced to Biblical Counseling. This is where I saw firsthand and understood that the word of God is all I need for life and godliness. I began counseling in 2009 and became an ACBC certified counselor in 2019.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you see our Lord's plans and purpose for you.

Taylor Wright

Pastor/Biblical Counselor

Though I grew up in a church-hopping home and thought church was boring,
God used a summer camp to change my life from pursuing the things of
this world to seeking His face and glory. During high school, I wrestled
through issues of pride, sexual immorality, anger, sorrow, video games,
and loneliness, but it was only in college through God's Word that I
began to see my life change. In college, I participated in a campus
ministry and served in a local church's youth ministry.

I married my lovely wife Sarah in 2014 in the summer after I finished my
undergraduate degree. I worked a couple of jobs in service and IT while
also serving as an unordained pastor of youth ministry.

I started my seminary education in 2017, while serving as a director of youth
ministry, and obtained my counseling credentials from the Association of
Certified Biblical Counselors in 2020. I graduated seminary in May 2021
with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts of Christian Counseling.
I began serving as the Pastor of Stonebridge Church in Perrysburg, OH in
March 2022.

I have 10 years of experience in youth ministry, 3 as a pastor, and 3 in
counseling. Sarah and I now have three kids. It is my prayer that you
would know God's grace and the power of His Spirit working through His
Word to bring hope to your life.

Your faithful servant,

Rev. Taylor Wright, MDIV, MACC
