Still Waters Counseling Philosophy
"I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well." (Psalm 139:14)
At Still Waters Biblical Counseling, we believe that we should always begin with spiritual considerations. What is a person's understanding of God, and do they have a relationship with Him? Are their life struggles rooted in disobedience to God? Could it be that there are truths and promises from God that they have not known?
While we believe that we are spiritual first and most, we do not deny the reality of our biological existence. Underlying health and dietary issues can play a role in our well-being. For this reason, we believe care from a physician or other health practitioners can be helpful in conjunction with Biblical counseling.

We at Still Waters Biblical Counseling Ministry also believe that born-again Christians, especially pastors and church leaders are competent to counsel the members of their church family. For this reason, SWBCM provides training and resources to churches that desire to provide Biblical counsel to their members. We are committed to establishing relationships with local pastors and churches to help them fulfill this God-honoring goal.
